Pursuing a claim for damages
To pursue a claim for damages against your employer, the following criteria must be met:
You discover you have suffered an injury as a result of exposure to an unsafe environment either at work or elsewhere. We’ll then take instructions from you to assess the viability of the claim.
We investigate your claim. This is likely to involve obtaining documents, including medical records and instructing a medical expert. If the investigation supports your claim, we will submit details to those identified as responsible. Evidence will be obtained to help us to value your claim.
We will strive to negotiate a suitable settlement, but where this is not possible, it may be necessary to take the case to Court. Not all Court cases are determined by a Judge; many are settled during the Court process.
After a successful claim, you will receive your compensation.
